General Order of Topics, Assignments, and Projects:
THEATRE PRODUCTION CLASS (I-III)
This class is dedicated primarily to the process of producing and promoting the current projects undertaken by Rains High School Theatre. While there will be specific individual and group assignments regarding analysis and other written work, the overwhelming task of the members of this class is to do everything necessary to produce the current live show.
There cannot be a specific chronological order placed upon the following activities. We will do what is needed—as is needed—for the productions.
GENERAL : Production Guidelines, Rules, etc. OAP Guidelines, etc. Self-Evaluation Grade Sheet Critiquing Shows
MANY FORMS: Paperwork—Lists, Roles, Auditions, Props, etc.
STAGECRAFT: Sets Costumes Props Makeup Stage Design Technical Analysis of Plays PRODUCING Study Shows Being Produced (or in the Plans to Produce) Programs The Greenroom Selling Ads
PERFORMING: Rehearsal Techniques Responsibilities Scene Selection and Directing Analysis of Scripts, Directorial Decisions, Acting Techniques, Characterization Rehearsal
